Lea Michele Or Die: I seriously love Taylor so much and I don’t say it enough anymore....

I seriously love Taylor so much and I don’t say it enough anymore. When people hate her music, that’s one thing, but if these people would just give her a chance they would find that she is one of the most genuine human beings they’ve ever known. She goes out of her way to do things for her fans. I don’t know of anyone, correct me though if I’m wrong, who meets fans every single night after she performs. I know that if I had just flailed around on stage for 2 and a half hours I would be ready to pass out in bed afterwards but she chooses to hang out with her fans, before and after shows. She randomly visited the RMH this past week and met and hugged and played songs for every kid there and yeah a lot of celebrities visit children’s hospitals and sick kids, but they don’t have to. Shit, one time she was driving down the road and saw a girl wearing her tour shirt, turned around, and followed her into a video game store because taylor wanted to meet her. Could you really even imagine one of your favorite celebrities walking up to you and telling you they wanted to meet you. In one day, for nearly fifteen hours straight, she stood on her feet and met and played songs for her fans and she still danced afterwards. At several of these kinds of meet & greets that I have personally been to, she sees a little girl beyond the crowd who couldn’t get a meet & greet and says “I want to meet her” and she does. One time she ordered pizzas for fans that were waiting outside a hotel she was staying at, and she went out and talked with them over pizza. Another time, she gave meet & greets to one of my friends on here because they waited out for hours just to see her walk into her hotel or something (idk i can’t remember ask jess). And then today when she was in London, she invited 2 fans to go to a shop with her and told the fans to pretend to be her best friends for the day. At her concerts, she has a moment where she walks through the audience and gives as many fans hugs as she can. She finds a little girl with cancer, picks her up and holds her, and talks to her. In the middle of a concert. One time she was in a mall food court eating, and this girl and her mom were looking around for an empty table but couldn’t find one, so Taylor invited them to have lunch with her. When she leaves hotels and there are fans waiting outside, she doesn’t walk past them, she stops and takes pictures and signs as much as she can before she has to go. She has called and talked to fans before. I’ll also never forget one night at my very first Taylor concert, a boy had died in a car accident and he was a huge Taylor fan. He had never gotten to see her live, and he carried her picture around everywhere and always bragged about her. Taylor invited his family and friends to the concert that night, dedicated a song to the boy, and I just remember her being extremely emotional while playing it because even in concert videos I had never seen her like that. And then she brought the family into her tour bus that night and talked with them. So many of my friends have met her in the past and recently and I am so thankful for that. I think I love it more when my friends meet her than when I do because her hugs are actually infectious and she makes you feel better for a while. And then when you have bad days, you think back to those days when she told you how beautiful you were. People just find things to nitpick at. I don’t give a fuck if you hate her music, there is a bigger picture to it in that she is a person just like everyone else and she has a kind and genuine heart and I just wish people could get to know that heart before they find things about her to hate.

this is so perfect it’s not even funny
